 answers

We're not in the UK but we love your work, can we still have your lovely pieces for our wedding?

Of course you can! Through the wonders of the internet I can work with couples all over the world. Obviously Shipping will vary depending on where in the world you are, but I will always try to get you the best price for shipping, in the fastest time, but in the safest way possible. I will never charge you more for shipping then I am being charged by my courier.

How soon before our Big Day should we be sending invitations etc to our guests.

Save the Dates can be sent up to a year in advance but as soon as you have confirmed your wedding date with your church or venue would be ideal if this isn’t possible. Once the wedding arrangements have been finalised the wedding invitations should be sent out. It is usual to send out invitations 2 or 3 months before the wedding day. Please allow for 3 to 4 weeks lead time for orders within the UK, International orders may require up to 6 weeks to allow for delivery.

Many people book holidays many months in advance so if the wedding date is set for the summer or one of the other popular holiday periods it may be advisable to give longer notice to close family and friends. Please be aware though that I do work on my own and pride myself on being able to provide a personal and special service for each of my Bride and Grooms. So that I can work with each couple on an individual basis I will never take on more work then I can handle in any given month and so some months will book up earlier than others.

We're not sure how many invite sets we will need, how do we work it out?

The best thing to do is sit down and make a list of your wedding guests. I remember from my own wedding that just close friends and family on both our sides soon added up to quite a sizable wedding party. Don’t panic though, once you have done this group them into families, Uncle David, Auntie Sandra, Victoria, Christopher and Sophia don’t all need an invite each...phew! That’s 5 birds killed with one stone. I would suggest that you add on 5 to 7 extra invites and RSVPs for emergencies/mistakes/indecision and possibly a few extra envelopes as well just in case you have got Auntie Mary and Uncle Ron’s old address instead of their new one.

All the other bits like Menu Cards, Order of Service etc are pretty straight forward; one per guest should be fine.

Can we see a sample of the paper you use and your work?

Definitely, it’s a really good idea to see a sample of what you will be getting (or something similar if you are having a custom design) and I am happy to provide a sample pack of the types of paper available and the quality of print I provide. Samples can be ordered here and please do let me know if you would like to see a specific design.

So how do we order some of this fabulous, amazing super duper work for our day?

First things first, we need to sort out your design. If you have had a browse through my Wedding Collection and have found your perfect design then fab, that’s nice and straightforward. The next step here is for you to get in contact with me either by email or by phone (please note for anyone calling from abroad this is my mobile/cell number so may incur quite a large cost for you) and we will have a good old chat about what it is you want, when you need it for and I can advise you on when we need to book you in for. A booking deposit of 25% of the price will be taken at the time of booking to confirm and secure your date. I will then send you an email proof of your invitations/Save The Dates/RSVPs etc. personalized with your wedding details. The remaining 75% of the balance will need to be paid before your order will go to print.

Postage will be quoted and invoiced once your order is printed.

If you are looking for something just a little bit more special (and please don’t think that by that I mean that my Wedding Collection Designs aren’t special, but if you are after something SUPER personal to you both) then please get in touch about a custom design for your wedding. You can do this in the same way as before, give me a shout via email or on the phone and we can discuss your wedding, your ideas, what is really important to you and what you really need. I love to hear all about other people’s weddings and what they are doing to make their day extra special to them so this is one of my fave bits!

We have ordered our fabulous invitations, save the dates, and RSVPs from you but there are other bits that we want that we can’t find here, do you do other things?

Of course! I would love to work with you to create any other On the Day items that you may need, I do stock some fabulous bit to help you make your wedding day extra special, from wedding favors to quirky table numbers, but if there is something specific that you are looking for then please do ask? Want a hand painted sign for your wedding day? Want a beautiful string of specially designed paper bunting to string across the top table? Please just ask, or if you are stuck for ideas then I am happy to help, together we can come up with fabulous ideas to make your day one that you and your guests will remember as fun, quirky and most importantly, really personal to you.

Can we order a proof please?

I'm afraid I can't offer paper proofs of your invites before they are printed but you will always have a PDF proof sent via email. Your order will only be sent to print once you are completely happy with your designs.

How do we pay?

Payment is invoiced via PayPal, as it is a secure online method of payment. Don’t worry if you don’t have a PayPal Account though, you can use a credit or debit card to pay the PayPal Invoice without any problem or if you would rather pay via Bank Transfer then please just ask.
